Experience design +
facilitation

Why Echo?

Your group might not need another team-building activity.

Sometimes you need to:

  • learn something together

  • make space for tricky conversations

  • reimagine a classic or design something new

  • step outside the everyday

Echo starts with this question:

What do you want to make possible?

From there, we work backward—designing an experience around your people, your context and what you actually need.

Meet Katie

Hi, I’m Katie. I’ve spent my career designing and facilitating experiences that help people learn, connect, reflect, play, and untangle challenges together.

My work has taken many forms over the years, but the thread running through all of it is pretty simple:

I love creating thoughtful experiences for people and seeing what becomes possible when they step outside the ordinary.

Testimonials

Katie has a remarkable ability to recognize needs within a community or organization and turn those needs into tangible, meaningful solutions. She is always willing to explore new approaches and isn’t afraid to encourage others to step outside their comfort zones. As a former colleague, I’ve seen firsthand how Katie’s extensive experience, creativity, and genuine personality make her a dynamic and inspiring leader. She brings a unique combination of thoughtful planning, strong leadership, and enthusiastic support to everything she does.

When Katie crafts an experience, it invites your whole being to be present, to be curious, and to be open to change. Katie’s events awaken laughter, creativity, and play while eliciting profound insights and powerful internal shifts. Katie is a master group facilitator and experience crafter, and those lucky enough to learn and play with her leave transformed and inspired to live into their true, authentic selves.

Katie is so intentional in creating experiences that invite playfulness and joy, while also teaching meaningful lessons. She creates time for participants to unpack how their experiences have impacted them so they can take the lessons learned into their lives outside of the experience. Katie is also the queen of risk management! She is so thorough in thinking through risks and creating plans to address situations, which creates a secure and safe environment for participants to fully engage.
